Pictures from my UK Trip to Oxford & London πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

Just touched down in the USA, after an eventful five-day visit to the UK & already my trip to Oxford is beginning to feel like something of a waking dream...

With a population of 155,000, the city is home to the University of Oxford, the oldest in the English-speaking world and features truly impressive architecture

Interesting pop culture reference:

Oxford locations, such as the Bodleian, New College and Christ Church, appear in the Harry Potter films.

Here are a few pictures from a walking tour that my wife and I took, just hours before my talk at the University:

In comparison to the US, being in Oxford felt like traveling in timeβ€”-steeped as this university town is in history and old world culture.

I do hope that these pictures might whet your appetite to pay this charming town a visit. πŸ™πŸΌ

Meantime, for contrast, here’s a cture from Carnaby street, in London, where I spent a few days for a family reunion. Mercifully, Brexit did not take place when I was there & I managed to avoid any protests. Phew
