As a child, I would never have imagined how soothing birdwatching could be... restless as I was, always, itching for action and distraction.

But now, in my middle age, a good day is one where I spend some time with feathered friends โ€” whether itโ€™s our peacocks or chickens, a cockatoo while out taking a walk, common grackles strutting about in the street, herons perched in a tree or ducks swimming in the river home.

Even though there seems to be an influx of thee fierce, winged predatoors in our neighborhoo, lately โ€” as a waay of keeping my beloved pigons away โ€” I cannoot help but admire their terrible grace emeanor.

Beautiful shots. When I hawk comes around, I have to run out and put my chickens away. Caught one of these on my deck just yesterday too.

Thank you ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ Yes, I feel the same way about โ€˜em, if I have birds in my care. Checkout my previous post about a hawk taking off with one of my pigeons ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
