The popularity of NFTs have opened the eyes of many digital artists to see the immense importance and financial rewards their arts carry. More and more artists are joining the NFT train, many of them exploring the open sea of google to understand how they can sell their art with NFts.

However, like many things that concerns humans and business, personal appeal and subjective market demands have affected which arts gets sold and which doesn’t.

You might not be making sales now because you aren’t selling to the right people.
Like I mentioned earlier, art is subjective. This subjectivity means that the people who see your art aren’t the type who like your art. Your works might be unappealing to them for various reasons.

The reasons they aren’t buying your art could either be financial or emotional and philosophical bias.
Financial reasons could mean the art’s price is either too high for these people or too low.
Yes, there are people who believe that the price of an artwork is directly proportional to its value. So if the price of your art is not as high as what they expect, they won’t bid and buy your art.

People are also drawn to certain artworks because of sentimental reasons. These sentiments could either be emotional or philosophical.

An emotional bias means that people aren’t emotionally connected to your art. People’s choice of artwork to buy is heavily dependent on how they feel about the art.

The philosophical sentiments mean that people’s philosophical ideologies influence how they appreciate art.
While some people like nature art, others don’t. if your art is about nature, a person who doesn’t love nature art will find your art boring.

Another reason why you haven’t been making sales could be your bad sales copy.
Like everything that has to do with marketing, having the right sales copy will either make or mar you.

This might sound like the most commonsensical thing to do, but many times, artist don’t know their audience. They just want to sell their works. Search for the right NFT platform that will be the best fit for your type of art.

Use the right sales copy:

Ensure that your sales copies are interesting, explanative and inspiring. If possible, use the services of a professional sales copywriter. It saves you a lot of time and stress.
