Your haiku is very sentimental. A significant detail expresses the love of God.

I hope this is a good sign.

Oh here you are already!
Lovely. Makes me wonder how many times I have driven right by this church and not stopped in to rest there.

Are you a Torontonian, @owasco?

No, I assumed this was in NYC! I should have known better - the streets are much too clean to be NY, which I did notice. What church is this then? It's very beautiful nestled in there among all that steel, concrete and glass. It must be a nice corner to be on. It certainly is a wonderful photo, the traffic lights look like glowworms hovering among it all, and those were the very first thing I saw.

It is the Church of the Redeemer, an Anglican church at the intersection between Bloor Street and Av. Road, in Toronto. ;)

Thank you for your haiku! I was thinking about how to interpret your first line, and I concluded that I like to think of it as an exclamation: have faith, and sooner or later you will find between the forest of streets and skyscrapers, a corner of gathering and prayer. Am I far from the meaning you wanted to give?
