The first thing she did once back home was making a cup of tea. Lemongrass. She loved the smell although the flavor was always a hot disappointment.
It was good to have some answers now. At least she knew her daughter was alive. Sound and safe like people ought to say.
She opened the backdoor and walked through the garden. After the fire it didn't look that bad at all. It had been a jungle and it would grow again. There was no need to bring everything back to how it once was. It didn't matter since her daughter was an adult. An adult with a life of her own.
While she stood outside enjoying the sun she switched her phone on and called the gardeners. They would finish the job and the rest was up to her.
The phone rang and it was Ben. "We found Jim", was all he said and broke the connection after he had given his address.
She felt happy Jim was found but before she went over she wpuld take a shower, ventilate the house, have lunch and tell her doctor ahe arrived home safely. She smiled and haven't felt that happy for a long time.
