Another looooong day on the road to Albuquerque for my wife's doctor appointment but I was able to get in a warm run along the Sandia foothills amid the Spring flowers.
Albuquerque is already nicely warmed up as Spring gets here a little earlier. It was nice to walk along the paths with Sandia Mountain in the background. It's a view I had every day when we lived just west of Albuquerque and it never ceases to be wonderful.
Too bad people in New Mexico can't be bothered to pick up their trash so the pathway had an abundance of garbage to spoil the nature beauty of the landscape.
I hope that I can put in a decent early run tomorrow and get an good start up along the creek for a hike and gold panning. I have to burn off the extra calories from my decadent New Mexican green chile treat at Blakes Lotaburger (you folks from the southwest know what I'm talking about 😊😊😊).
