A very satisfying run after my ling day out rock collecting yesterday. I'm a bit surprised I wasn't more stiff and sore.
I was still feeling a bit tired from the long drive but other than my right knee feeling just a bit sore it wasn't too bad. Went out on my now usual neighborhood route with just a couple of small hills on the short trail section. My pace was also better today but still a good minute slower than I would like it to be.
Still, at least my ultramarathon plan looks like I won't have a race until November and/or December. Just have to hope my hip and knee improve to the point where it doesn't slow me down at all.
Tomorrow we're off early to spend time up in Flagstaff so I'm not sure when I'll get in my workout. Hopefully it won't be too long of a day or maybe I can do something up in Flagstaff.
