Vegetable Lumpia With Sweet Sauce

I gonna share another food I prepared for dinner. I have here vegetable lumpia with sweet sauce.

I gonna share here on how I prepared vegetable lumpia.

Because I bought lumpia wrapper the last time I went to grocery, I prepared to cook vegetable lumpia for our dinner.

Making vegetable lumpia really takes time and patience. Imagine that after our half day work and finished my lunch I started preparing.

So let's start the long process. 😀😀😀

Ingredients:

● Cabbage
● Chayote
● Hotdog
● Onion
● Garlic
● Tomato
● Green chili
● Cooking oil
● Soy sauce
● Oyster sauce
● Magic sarap
● Salt
● Lumpia wrapper
● Banana catsup
● Sugar

Note: The banana catsup, sugar, salt, soy sauce and cooking oil was forgotten to include together with the other ingredients in the picture anove.

Procedures:

  1. Chopped cabbage, chayote, hotdog, garlic, onion, tomato and green chili. In a pan, saute garlic, onion, tomato, green chili, hotdog and chayote. Put some soy sauce, oyster sauce and magic sarap. Mix well and simmer for 3 minutes. Again, I am using fire woods in cooking.

  2. When chayote is half cooked, put the cabbage and stir well. Put some oyster sauce and magic sarap depends on your taste. Mix them well in a minute.

  3. Removed from fire the sauted vegetables. Transfer in a clean plate and set aside. Then, detached the lumpia wrapper one by one. When the sauted vegetables cool down, fill the lumpia wrapper with sauted vegetables and roll them. Until you finish them all. With the lumpia I made, I was able to make 40 rolls.

  4. Once all them wrapping, prepare the pan for frying the lumpia rolls. Fry until all done. Then prepare the sweet sauce in the same pan. Saute garlic, onion and green chili. Put some banana catsup, a cup of water, sugar, salt, oyster sauce and magic sarap. Stir continuously until ut becomes sticky. Transfer the sweet sauce in a clean container and serve with vegetables lumpia while hot.

Note: Chopping the main ingredients for the vegetables lumpia takes time and also wrapping the fillings takes a lot of time in me. Coz it takes time to me to make the right lumpia rolls. 😁😁😁
