Who is “QAnon Shaman”?

"A federal courtroom is a lot like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re going to get.

That was never truer than Friday, when the attorney representing Jacob Chansley, aka Jake Angeli, better known as the “QAnon Shaman,” used the fictional film Forrest Gump in his argument before a federal judge."

"As trays with bologna sandwiches and canned fruit are being served to millions of people in America's prisons and jails, US Capitol rioter and so-called "QAnon Shaman" Jacob Chansley is only eating organic food while he awaits trial.
Last week, a federal judge ordered that Chansley should be given organic food after several requests and an apparent hunger strike, claiming non-organic food was against his religion and sickened him"

"Jacob Anthony Angeli Chansley, a 33-year-old Navy veteran from Arizona who was arrested and charged after last week's siege at the U.S. Capitol, refused to take the anthrax vaccine while in the Navy, ending his two-year career, a Navy official confirmed to Military.com."

"The so-called 'QAnon Shaman' charged in the Capitol riots has broken his silence to claim that he stormed the Senate floor to 'sing a song' and stop people from stealing and vandalizing in the hallowed hall"

"As seen in now-famous photographs from the storming of the Capitol, Chansley reached the dais in the Senate chamber. There, the government now alleges, he left a menacing note for Vice President Mike Pence that read: “It’s only a matter of time, justice is coming.”"

"Chansley, who calls himself the “QAnon Shaman” and has long been a fixture at Trump rallies, unsuccessfully sought a pardon from Trump. He has since apologized for his actions and has pleaded not guilty to two felony and four misdemeanor charges."

"The man known as the “QAnon Shaman” said he was only trying to spread good vibes and the word of God when he broke into the Capitol — and even stopped a brazen thief from swiping muffins from the break room.

Jacob Chansley, 33, who made national headlines for donning horns, face paint and a fur hat during the Jan. 6 riot, said in his first interview from jail that he was hoping to “bring divinity, and to bring God back into the Senate.”"

"A judge said a St. Louis-based lawyer representing the man known as the ”QAnon Shaman,” who stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6, violated federal rules in facilitating a “60 Minutes Plus” interview for his client, Politico reported."

"Nearly two months after Donald Trump supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol, the QAnon Shaman is defending his actions that day from his jail cell."

"The "QAnon Shaman," speaking from jail, told a 60 Minutes+ reporter during an exclusive interview that he did not believe his attacks on the U.S. Capitol were an attack on the country."

"The mother of Jacob Chansley, the man dubbed “QAnon Shaman” by various media outlets due to his photogenic face paint and Nordic-looking getup worn during the Jan. 6 siege of the U.S. Capitol Complex, really loves her son. So much so that Martha Chansley recently gave an interview to 60 Minutes+ defending his actions in whole—and the underlying conspiracy theory behind them."

"QAnon Shaman" Jacob Chansley claims that former President Donald Trump used social media and "public propaganda" to "effectively groom" his followers into believing conspiracy theories."

"The ‘QAnon Shaman’ is a failed actor who lives with his mom, believes spiral signs are an ‘FBI pedophile code’ and drives a battered Hyundai car plastered with conspiracy slogans, DailyMail.com can disclose."
