I don't know much about chess, but it can't possibly as easy as just knowing preconceived strategies. There has to be a lot of improvisation and reacting to unexpected moves. If it were just as easy as "knowing your opponents moves" it wouldn't be the same game. And the best in the world can't possibly just know the same moves without being able to adapt on the spot. So I find that answer very hard to believe
