OCD Daily: Issue #424

OCD DAILY - Issue #424

Welcome to the 424 issue of @OCD Daily!

Issue #424 highlights content from six (6) Steem Content Creators! The OCD team continues its search throughout Steem to find you the undervalued gems, as provided by relatively new users.

Today our curators found six (6) new pieces of original content! We strive to find works that are created by newer Steem users, that may not have the audience with which to share their quality content. @OCD strives to help provide that audience and intends to showcase Steem users who put in the extra effort to create creative, original content.

The @OCD nomination process

A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users). Within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @OCD team, curator votes are tallied, and the pieces with the most votes are included in the compilation.

We encourage you to visit these blogs and show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.

If you enjoyed their work, give them a Follow or maybe even say Hello!

All of the content chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is universally appreciated and valued by our curators making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.

Our top nomination of the day is from @rabbitblack

Amazing, talented painter, presenting a time lapse of their plein air piece that was drawn in a rainy and windy day. Great video of their arting process !

Plein Air Landscape | Oil Painting in the Wind and Rain

Our next nomination of the day is from @michael.dime

New, original and funny comic strip from @michael.dime, and in full colors! It investigates the idea of a future where planet Earth won't look the same, be it an effect caused by humans or simply by the natural progression of life in the universe.

Getting hyped for Inktober 2019!

Our next nomination of the day is from @carolinacardoza

I love DIY and in @carolinacardoza’s post, we can see a nice tutorial on how to make a crochet
poncho. I can’t crochet so having a detailed step by step instruction with pictures showing the patterns makes it easier to understand. The result of the poncho looks fabulous!

Ruana, overcoat or poncho knitted in crochet

Our next nomination of the day is from @ducksaplenty

I love this Wing It Banana Bran Muffins post by @ducksaplenty. Not only because the recipe sounds just delicious, but also because of the funny stories about her childhood and how she's such an innovative cook now. She learnt it off her mother who was literally able to cook a hearty meal for the family of seven from pretty much nothing.

Prepare yourself for a sensory overload at Idiom Wines in Cape Town, south Africa. This three-course menu is courtesy of @maretha94. I predict some wine today at night to pair this post.
