OCD Daily: Issue #369

OCD DAILY - Issue #369

Welcome to the 369th issue of @OCD Daily!

ssue #369 highligghts content from eight (8) Steem Content Creators! The OCD team continues its search throughout Steem to find you the undervalued gems, as provided by relatively new users.

Today our curators found eight (8) new pieces of original content! We strive to find works that are created by newer Steem users, that may not have the audience with which to share their quality content. @OCD strives to help provide that audience and intends to showcase Steem users who put in the extra effort to create creative, original content.

The @OCD nomination process

A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users). Within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @OCD team, curator votes are tallied, and the pieces with the most votes are included in the compilation.

We encourage you to visit these blogs and show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.

If you enjoyed their work, give them a Follow or maybe even say Hello!

All of the content chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is universally appreciated and valued by our curators making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.

Our top nomination of the day is from @maysi-art

Absolutely gorgeous. Maya Shippl brought us little mermaid and what a sculpture she is! The design for the piece is delivered so aptly that we know immediately the character! The detailing of her face achieved a naturally expectant expression, and the pose of the figure with her hands well articulated seeming as if she might just be about to splash back into the sea catches our attention easily. There are process pictures included and also a video, with the post, so we can really appreciate the artistry that goes into this piece ! Incredible and very beautiful!

Our next nomination of the day is from @theartofori

@The Art of Ori loves learning through his art. What did the colorful skeletons of Dia De Los Muertos taught him? @theartofori creates new piece of art every single day, but this art theme gave him a lesson of how important the thinking process is in the art as well as diving deeper into the themes to create more layers to the art. Take a look at these dancing skeletons that are embodiments of celebration of family and honoring ancestors!

@adelair has an amazing portrait skill. She records her painting process so that you can watch every detail of how she paints this wonderful portrait, Saya from Archdale Chronicles. Her painting is so realistic. You will almost believe that it’s a photo. If you are interested in how to paint a realistic portrait, you won’t be disappointed to watch this video.

Our next nomination of the day is from @lotusfleur

There are many beautiful animals out in the world. However, some them are quite poisonous for humans. One prime example would be the Portuguese galley, or as it is called in professional circles, the Physalia physalis. This beautiful jellyfish is fortunately not deadly for most human beings, however you should still avoid direct contact. If you just get it in front of your camera lense like @lotusfleur did, it however is quite a marvelous motive. So keep your distance and enjoy
