The Temple of Horus is located in Edfu, between Aswan and Luxor.
It is the 2nd largest temple in Egypt, after Karnak, and its entrance is decorated with engravings representing the king and the gods of the time.
The god of the city was a hawk, the Horus of Behedet, hence its name.
