Yesterday we had a writing prompt for walls so there would've been a few other related stories out there, hopefully they found you too! :D
And maybe it has all come back on the other side of the wall, the slender willowy trees and their elf-yellow leaves. Sun makes prisms of raindrops, and chipmunks play on cheetahs' tails. Maybe the wall is there so that people forget there ever were such things and are instead "happy" with their bleak empty existences.Boy I caught this one in the knick of time!
Maybe! I never thought of it that way, but that's a good point. Also sounds familiar in a way... modern life in a nutshell.
