Greetings Nobel steemians, after a hectic day I decided to share the little cooking experience I know with you all. Nowadays rice have become a general food and almost everyone eat rice. Majority of people like fried rice, pepper soup rice, jellof rice to mention but a few. But I actually love my rice been prepared with stew( Rice and Stew). I have a particular way of preparing my rice and stew.
Ingredients For Rice And Stew I will follow it step by step
Cups of rice
Method Of Preparation First of all I will wash my tomatoes, pepper and onion then I will blend it.
After that I will wash my onion and slice it properly.
After that I will put a pot on the fire.
when it gets dry I will have to turn my oil ( Red and Vegetable oil) inside the pot and allow it to get hot for 2minutes.
I will put the sliced onion inside the pot.
The blended tomatoes will be next
Then I will stir it and allow it and I will allow it to fry until the water dries up and when the oil is been seen at the surface I will know that the tomatoes have fried.
Here are my stew ingredients
I will now add my maggi, salt, onga, curry, fish and stir it.
If the stew is kind of thick I will add little quantity of water.
And then I will allow it to boil for some minutes
And now the stew is ready.
I will now measure my local rice and blow/select it because of stone and dirt.
After blowing the rice I will put a neat pot and place it on top of the fire, I will now add water and the rice, then I will allow it to boil for like 18minutes parboiling.
I will now wash and drain my rice.
After doing that I will turn the rice black Into the pot of water and I will add a little salt and water, then I will have to cover the pot and allow the rice to boil until it is 20mins when the water is dried.
Rice is ready but before dishing out the rice I will have to tidy up my kitchen by throwing away the dirty water and leathers.
Here comes the delicious and well prepared rice and stew.
