I've been dollar cost averaging lately. I haven't been going out with my friends. I haven't been doing anything that doesn't involve writing or the cryptocurrency markets.
Well that's not entirely true. I have been out with my friends a few times but I've spent most of the evening checking the markets. Everyone looks at the phone anyway, it's just that we cryptocurrency investors are looking at it to see the market condition.
So I've been dollar cost averaging lately. I've kind of been hoping that we would head back down to around $8500 because that would be a great place to put some money in, but now we have broken into the upside.
We're sitting at $12,600, and I think it's very possible we could be at $13,000 tomorrow and even $16,000 by the end of the week if things go forward in the way that they have been.
Dollar cost averaging might not work out if we hit $40,000 by the next month or two.
I kind of wish I had put more money in sooner instead of putting it in with incremental amounts.
That's OK though. I don't think that alt season is going to come around anytime soon either.
In fact, I think there's going to be some negative changes with the issues that are going to arise with the hard fork and with EIP.
I do think that those changes will eventually be over though, and at that point it's very possible we will be looking at a fairly pricey Bitcoin.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea now put a bunch of money and or if we really are going to head back down to $8500. Of course no one is ever able to tell you that kind of thing ahead of time.
All you can do is your best.
As always, remember to take care of your money.
It is real and most likely quite hard earned.
