According to my understanding so far i perceive plagiarism to be taking another authors work with out giving credit to the original author himeself, borrowing content so far on steemit is not against the regulations its nit giving credit or indicating that your content is being borrowed not just indicating that its borrowed indicating where its borrowed from..

Plagiarism
Plagiarism is presenting someone else’s work or ideas as your own, with or without their consent, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement. All published and unpublished material, whether in manuscript, printed or electronic form, is covered under this definition. Plagiarism may be intentional or reckless, or unintentional. Under the regulations for examinations, intentional or reckless plagiarism is a disciplinary offence.Source

This defination covers it all, now if i had only put the remark and left out the link it would be considered plagiarism because i didn't give the credit to anyone. Plagiarism in a nutshell is taking another's work with no credit given to the original author.

Types of Plagiarism

  • Complete Plagiarism

This is often found i cases where an individual copies an original content word for word without even a single alteration

  • Self Plagiarism

This type of plagiarism is found when one copies content he wrote elsewhere and repost it in another place without citation for rewards

  • Paraphrasing

This is a situation where one uses content gotten from else where but tweaks a few words to make it seem like the content is all his

  • Collaboration

In cases where an individual collaborates with others to produce a content and the individual post it without permission or knowledge of others involved in the content creation its considered plagiarism

CONCLUSION
Plagiarism comes in a lot of form what is important is that we dont forget to cite our page source or give credit to the autohr of the original post, the best way to avoid plagiarism is to be ORIGINAL brianstorm and write articles from your head
