IBT Survival Island - Game Demo is now available for community members

The work has been done and our test demo2 is now available for download and play. Instructions for download and play will be posted in our community discord channel directly.

In this demo we are testing key game play components of particular note: Selecting a character, Gathering resources and building basic structures as well as saving and loading.

It has been cut down to these core game components and the area of play restricted  - this is to make sure we get the basics right, but it has come out pretty good I reckon and gives the player a firm feel for how the game will come out in the wash when its time to release.

The above image was a random capture from the test2 demo, it has been modified for displaying on Steemit.

Releasing our test2 demo, which is a playable demo is a major milestone so we really hope people give it a try. A readme file will be available in the test-comment channel and we hope testers use it as a guide in the first instance, else please just leave a comment in the testers-comment channel and we will respond fairly quickly.

Want to become a IBT Survival Island SMT game tester and get reserved tokens? Simply join our community, all are welcome -  here  is  the invite link: https://discord.gg/Gr3kH9T

That's it for this weeks update, we look forward to tester feedback in the testers-comment channel.

Enjoy and Steemon!

Cool. I will download it ASAP. I am not sure how soon I can give feedback as I am preparing for a Housing Trust inspection on Thursday.

It's my pleasure. The game is quite fun so far. I'd like to be able to rotate stairs but it might have just been that there was no room to do that.

Dear @ibt-survival, @lordnigel

I was just wondering - is there any particular reason why instruction will be posted directly on discord, and not on Steemit as well? Just curious.

I wrote another comment on your previous post, but I'm afraid that it's simply to old for you to check it out, so allow me please to repeat:

Based on my understanding, you're planning to reward those who participate in your project with IBT SMT token? I like this concept.

Let's say that together with few guys from @project.hope - we would like to get involved and help you out with beta testing and "spreading the word". Who should I talk to? I already joined your discord channel.

Solid upvote on the way:) (both from my account, from @tipu and 300k SP from @project.hope :)
Cheers, Piotr

Thanks for the comment - sorry if I missed you somewhere along the way earlier.

You are most welcome to to direct questions my way, either here on Steemit or via DM I don't mind and we are very transparent either way.

I appreciate the upvote support, it helps the community account to grow and thus benefits the community, I will powerup the steem and put it to good use.

I dont have much experience building a community around this kind of thing, so its a bit of learning as we go - It's been fun so far, but any advice is appreciated and will be carefully considered.

If you have particular suggestions or wish to help its all appreciated. We have been operating fairly low under the radar and want to move forward slowly/cautiously, building up a small community of interested and dedicated supporters and testers. The discord channel was created as a suggestion of one of the community with this in mind.

I will read-up a bit more on @project.hope - I'm afraid I'm a bit behind on some of the more recent developments in the Steem eco system.

Cheers Nigel

Thank you for prompt reply @lordnigel

So perhaps I could help you guys.

One of our goals as @project.hope is to find few projects (mostly games) build on steem blockchain and help them get some exposure and new users.

We're hoping to find ways to collaborate with those few projects and our initial idea was to work with those teams and promote thier games via ref-link. That would bring some revenue to project.hope and allow futher expansion.

Regardless if we would or would not manage to create some additional revenue, my goal is to support projects on steem which can bring more value to our blockchain. And obviously main goal is to make more valuable contacts.

Hope I'm making sense.

Try to visit this post: PROJECT "HOPE" ECONOMY EXPLAINED

Recently our team supported @holybread with beta testing and once they launched we've managed to get over 100 users onboard. I would love us to find was to collaborate, as I see that it may be win-win for both parties.

ps. I added you on discord. Please accept my request.

cheers, Piotr

It's me again @lordnigel

I just realized that I never actually thanked you for your comment. Big thx.

ps.
I would need to ask you for little favour. Recently I've decided to join small contest called "Community of the week" and I desribed our project.hope hive/community. Would you mind helping me out and RESTEEM this post - just to get some extra exposure? Your valuable comment would be also appreciated.

Link to my post: on steemit or on steempeak

Thanks :)
Yours, Piotr

Sounds interesting, I think it's a matter of checking your previous posts to know a little more, such as knowing if it's a Battle Royal game, cracking game, simulator, RPG game or it's a game of some other style.

Hi appreciated @ibt-survival.

Where can I download the Demo2?
I already joined his discord channel.

Maybe I could help you with the tests.

Sure - you just need to introduce yourself in the welcome channel by stating your Steem name so we can be sure who you are. Then if you look back at the thread under testers-comments channel you will spot the instructions (found in the release2.txt attachment).

All the best
