The eagerness steals joy.

Greetings and blessings to the @Steemchurch community. Today I share an interesting reflection on those details that deprive us of joy. In the Word of God we find:

#

> 41 Jesus answered and said: Marta, Marta, worried and worried, you are with many things. 42 But only one thing is necessary; and Mary has chosen the good part, which will not be taken away (Luke 10: 41-42).

#

The concern in the person makes him tense, anxious, agitated and distressed by so many things that generate a negative emotional impact. Haste steals the concentration of what is really worth it and steals your joy, peace and psychological balance.

#

Marta worried in such a way that she wanted to be a good hostess to receive the Lord Jesus in her house, she wanted to have everything clean, well accommodated, everything in her place, she wanted to make a good impression as a hostess. But, that was not what mattered to the Lord Jesus, who said: "Marta, Marta, worried and worried you are with many things."
Jesus does not reject Martha's hospitality, but he is worried about his confusion and excessive dedication to his many things.

#

Mary's attitude focused on being a good disciple, that is, hearing the word of Jesus.

#

In life we must learn to give God the rightful place. Everything has its time in the sun. Worry steals your joy if you allow it. It cannot be forgotten that "the joy of the Lord is our strength", so we must give God as much time as possible in our lives, so that the joy of the Lord can be poured out on a personal, family and congregational level. .
