Rooted in the love of Christ

Greetings and blessings. The peace of Christ abounds in your hearts. The wounds of my soul took me for a long time to get entangled in the deep roots of my bitterness, hatred, resentment and much suffering, by the same personal disappointments of life and family. I was emotionally upset and downcast. It is not easy to lead a life of appearance, to make believe that you are well, when you are really wrong. Smile at those around you when in the depths of your soul there is a resounding disdain for those who hurt you.

I felt like a giant tree with bad fruit and long bad roots. I recognize that there were many bad fruits in my life. He regularly experienced attacks of depression, pessimism and self-pity. He had a controlling spirit and an imperious attitude. She was tough, severe, rigid, legalistic. He was a resentful and fearful person, especially of being rejected. It was one person inside and another outside.

Have you ever opened your refrigerator and noticed a bad smell? Something has been damaged, but to find it it is necessary to take everything out. This is what happened in my personal life. If you have emotional problems, it could be that something is damaged inside you. You will have to search to get to the source of the problem and eliminate it so that everything is fresh again.

This principle I understood very clearly, I had to take away all those bad roots that made me bear bad fruit. I understood that I had to be uprooted from the base of my wounds and be transplanted to the good foundation of Jesus Christ, so that he would be rooted in and grounded in Him and in His love.

In my experience, I can say that being replanted and returning to take strong roots is a process that requires time and effort. However, today I can declare the words of the Apostle Paul to the Ephesians: "So that Christ may dwell by faith in their hearts, so that, being rooted and grounded in love, he may fully understand ... what is the width, length, depth and height, and know the love of Christ, which exceeds all knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God "(Eph 3: 17-20).

The knowledge of God's love for you is the fundamental truth upon which all other truths must be built, when we are convinced of this then we can build on this foundation.
