Squares Revenue Earnings For First Quarter Exceeds Wall Street Expectations
After Square enabled buy and sell of Bitcoin through Cash App, it’s revenue more than doubled Wall Street expectations. The payment giants earnings per share was at 41 cents compare to the 16 cents analysts had predicted. Square’s share price jumped over 6% on Thursday after it announced the massive revenue for first quarter. Number of XRP Whale Wallets Surge Despite Lawsuits – 2021 Q1 Report
The Number of XRP whale wallets massively increase despite law suit with SEC according to Ripple’s 2021 first quarter report published on may 6th. The number of XRP whales, that is the number of wallets at least 10 million XRP surged 3.5% from 308 to 319. Also, wallets holding between 1 million to 10 million XRP increased from 1,125 to 1,196. Börse Stuttgart Now Allows Exchange-Traded Notes For Cardano and Stellar
Börse Stuttgart, the second-largest German stock exchange declared exchange-traded notes (ETNs) launch for Cardano and Stellar, totalling 22 ETNs on the platform. Investors can now enjoy extended trading hours from 8:00 to 22:00 hours. Jürgen Dietrich, Börse Stuttgart’s Director of Trading said that the recent project is influenced by the increased interest in cryptocurrency and it also gives opportunity for investors to participate in the price development of the two cryptocurrencies. Gemini-Backed Payments App Now Allows Payments With Dogecoin To 41000 Stores
Dogecoin can now be used to make payments in 41000 stores as announced by payments network Flexa. The Company partnered with Gemini, a crypto exchange led Winklevoss, the aim is to provide use cases for spending cryptocurrencies. This adds utility to the meme coin even as Gemini listed it this week, adding to it's price spike. Many Americans also see Doge as the next bitcoin as the joke coin gains more acceptance. The National Payments Corporation of India (NCPI) Says It will not ban cryptocurrencies and only advised Banks to decide whether to allow it or not. This means that the restrictions placed on trading crypto is getting eased off as the corporation declared that It's not against cryptocurrency and have given banks the liberty to either accept it or reject, judging by their own risk management and under special financial adviser. VanEck Files For Ethereum Exchange-Traded Fund With U.S SEC
VanEck, Exchange-traded fund (ETF) startup filed for an Ethereum ETF, according to public records. The Startup had filed for a Bitcoin ETF which still under review by U.S Securities Exchange Commission. The Ether ETF proposal indicates that it would allow retail and institutional traders to have exposure to the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap without directly investing in it.
