Hello,
Amala is a type of food made from dry grinded yam (yam flour). It is mostly common among the yoruba people.
It is prepared by boiling the water under the temperature of 100 degree Celsius. Then you pour the yam flour inside the boiled water, turned to make surethere is no lumps. Make sure is not too hard or too soft. Put little water to cook for five minutes turn till there is no more water in it. Then its ready for serving. It can be served with desired soup but mine was served with jute (ewedu).
Yam flour
Thanks.
