Those were the first mushrooms I shot on my very recent mushroom hunt. I was waiting for some rains and after that a sunny day and I got it all!
On top of that it was pleasantly warm, about 13 degrees C, so the mushrooms were popping like crazy.
Right after the entrance there is more open area with newly planted trees, very sandy soil and some grass enjoying the rains. And I spotted those! Not very big, maybe a walnut size. But that is fine! All mushrooms are welcome. Especially if they have those cute furry hats that hold the morning dew drops so nicely
And this was just a start! The further I went the more types and sizes I found. I think I will be bale to shoot enough to last me though the hot summer when the only mushrooms available are the ones in supermarkets.
My contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw
I hope many of you will join as there are only 2 simple rules:
- when Friday comes post your own, original photo/drawing/art/food/anything-at-all of any type of fungi (yes, I will check and report stolen images!)
- add #FungiFriday tag (it doesn't have to be your first tag)
That's all :)
