Saturday, November 16th, 2019, at 8 am. After I walked the dogs I changed the gear and went for a run.

The idea was to make a relatively flat one hour run with nine minutes of easy run and one minute of a walking break. I even took the running belt and a flask with magnesium and vitamin C solution with me to underline the walking breaks with a sip.
Then the reality of the moment kicked in. The run turned into a cross country, off-road, bushwacking adventure. Great!
In the beginning, the path was pleasant. First a bit up ...

Then a bit down ...

Then taking a narrow muddy path ...
And taking a break to drink some ...
Jumping over fallen trees ...
Greeting a fire lizard ...
Finding more half and fully fallen trees ...
Doing some RITO - Run In Trash Out. I found this inner sole in the middle of nowhere, completely off any track.
Another beautiful fire lizard ...
Greeting an old friend ... The sign says "Pick your litter after you!"
Trying to avoid swimming pools of mud ...
Negotiating the creek Črnušnjica ...
Using this trunk as a bridge to cross the creek ...
Finding my way home ...
Disposing of the litter ...
... and finally getting home.
It was, in one word ...
Beautiful!
The day has started well.

I love these shots and a cross country, off-road, bushwacking adventure sounds like fun to me although I am not sure it would be fun to my knees
Thanks a lot for your comment.
Well, take it easy with your knees and you could do it. As you can see the average pace was that of a snail :)
Walking my Knees dont mind, but running they do not like, I do get a lot of walking it it is my form of exercise
Cheers and have a great day
