We human beings have always been concerned with taking care of our appearance and neglecting the most important, as it seems that the internal did not matter and it is essentially the internal that we must try to take care of and keep in good health so that the external can also be viewed pleasantly.
If we attend to our hearts and try to take care of life's ravages by not treasuring the things that do a lot of damage to our being, obviously we would be better people. For this reason we find in the book of Proverbs 4:23:
"Above all things take care of your heart,
because life flows from him ". | NIV |
Our life depends on the state of our heart on a physical level and on a spiritual level, if we conserve our heart we preserve life.
The men of God always advised what Jesus preached and He spoke a lot about truly caring for what is worthwhile. In the book of 1 Peter 3: 3-4 we read. "May your beauty not be the external one, which consists of ornaments such as ostentatious hairstyles, gold jewelry and luxurious dresses. May your beauty be rather incorruptible, that which comes from the intimacy of the heart and consists of a soft spirit and gentle. This one does have a lot of courage before God. " (| NIV).
What God really weighs is the heart of man and it is the most important thing for God that is why we must reflect on what we are treasuring in our hearts.
Today is a good day to tell God to help us cleanse our hearts and support him with his love by removing all that does not come from Him into our lives.
