On Facebook to circulate fraudulent advertisements, which promote the investment platform Telegram Open Network (TON).

As the Russian news platform Kommersant reported on September 20, advertisements for the so-called "Successful Investor" account have surfaced on Facebook. If you click on them, the ad leads to a web page disguised as the Russian business and technology media platform RBC. There you will find an article that looks like an investigation and contains links to a web page with a video that advertises a "unique merit". An alleged registration form for the TON platform is also included.

When users post their email address and phone number, they can easily earn $ 150 to $ 235 per day, as the system promises. According to whois, a domain search service, the domain was registered on August 30th.

The TON platform has not yet been opened. Three anonymous investors who invested in Telegram's $ 1.7 billion Private Initial Coin Offering have stated that Telegram has confirmed that the first Gram tokens will be issued in October.

Earlier this month, Telegram released its TON Testnet Explorer and its node software on its website. In two months the edition of the digital currency Gram is planned.

In April, Cointelegraph reported that Telegram had given selected developers access to a private trial of the TON blockchain. Anonymous test developers said the blockchain had an "extremely high transaction speed".

The software startup TON Labs, which is managed by telegram token offering investors, is working on a solidity compiler for its blockchain. This programming language is primarily used to develop smart contracts in the Ethereum network. This would make the TON blockchain compatible with Ethereum DApps.
