Greetings brothers. My new reflection message focuses on PATIENCE REACHING PERFECTION. We will have as biblical background James 1: 2-4, which refers to:
My brothers, have much joy when you find yourself in various tests, knowing that the test of your faith produces patience. But be patient with your full job, so you can be perfect and honest, without missing anything.
This passage tells us that when patience has done its perfect job, we will also be perfect (fully developed) and complete, without losing anything. He also talks about tests of all kinds and tells us that during the test time we must be patient.
Patience is not the ability to wait, but the ability to maintain a good attitude while we wait.
Patience is the fruit of the Holy Spirit that manifests itself in a calm and positive attitude. Impatience is full of negative emotions, and is one of the tools that Satan uses to prevent us from achieving fullness and integrity.
Hebrews 10:36 tells us that we must have patience to do the will of God.
I asked the Lord: "When, God? When?" thousands of times before I realize that, according to Psalm 31:15, my times are in your hands. God knows exactly the right time for everything, and our impatience will not rush him.
