1 cup masoor (whole red lentil) soaked in water for 3 hours
2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon hot spices powder
4 kokum's (garcinia indica)
Salt (to taste)
1 teaspoon oil (for seasoning)
In the pressure cooker: add masoor, one onion (chopped) and 2 cups of water.
Cook until one whistle.
After the pressure cooker cools, except onion, add all the remaining ingredients to the masoor.
Heat oil in a pan, add onion (chopped), till it turns brown in colour.
Add the cooked masoor mixture in the pan.
