If you look at top brands like Apple, Samsung, Microsoft, Nike etc, you can see how high quality their contents are, most especially their video contents where they spend a lot of money to ensure that they put out the best videos that would attract their target customers or target audience. For small businesses, this can be a big challenge not because they don’t have the idea, but because they don’t have the resources to pull it off. Nonetheless, there are still other ways small businesses can capitalize on. Big businesses can spend a ton of money creating contents for TV commercials, radio commercials, prints etc… for small businesses, they can achieve great results with just social media like we have seen so far… small businesses are thriving online with the help of social media. There are millions and millions of users on social media, small businesses can capitalize on this large pool of target audience on different social media platforms.

A lot of small business utilize blog posts or text contents a lot more because of how cheap it is to create… it doesn’t take anything to write up a quality post and publish on a blog or on social media channels like Facebook, Linkedin etc. Image and video contents are becoming more and more popular because of their conversions rates… however, this can have a cost especially when it involves paying a graphics designer or for video services. The great news is that there are very affordable tools or free tools that small business owners can take advantage of… free tools like canva is great for graphics contents, there are free or very affordable video tools on the web or as mobile apps that are great for creating video contents for social media.

Content creation has proven to be a very powerful marketing tool for businesses and when utilized effectively can help skyrocket a business to a whole new level. We have seen small business gain a massive following on social media because of uniqueness and consistent content creation that adds value to people. As always, the more eyeballs and attention a business receives, the more sales it is more likely to make. That is the power of content creation, A simple blog post or simple video content can skyrocket sales in any business… that is why the importance of content creation in business can never be overemphasized.

Very true, Social media has really help small businesses reach target audience which would have caused them quite a lot of money, for free. Yeah, canva is a very useful tool for creating social media banners and posters, although not too great for us(me) graphic creators(hahahah).
