Recent crazy events at the homestead had forced us to search for a new home hastily.. and the Heavenly Father answered my prayers with a nice cozy house in town, right off the same road I grew up on all my life.
Several miles removed from my homestead of old, @kelsnm, James and I will begin a new chapter in our lives, for at least one year.
I am still able to visit my old garden however, and will be doing so the remainder of the season to harvest the goods and eventually break down the garden for good.. :[.
This momentary harvest barely fit on our “new” kitchen counter.
Nolstalgia hitting hard.
Little man won’t remember spending his first few months at my Fathers house, but that’s ok. We will have our own home to form the memories of a family.
Father sprays around these plants with Round up. So I may just let them grow as big as they want and keep them as show pieces this fall, and display them on my new front porch in town. Solid idea.
I was able to transport most of my container peppers to the new place and will continue to care for them.
In the meantime, we are getting settled in nicely to our new home, I believe.
I pray to Heavenly Father. Take care y’all.
