@Barski PHOTO CONTEST - ROUND 16 - Show me the reflection of the world in a puddle - weekly prize pool of 230 BTCMYC ( bitcoinmyk ) tokens

Round 16

Greetings, friends!

Before announcing the winners of the previous competition, I want to say a few words about what prompted me to focus on small ponds called puddles.

In fact, any body of water is a puddle.

After the Flood, when it rained for a long time, our planet was one big puddle.

Why, then, do I like to photograph eruptions in puddles?

For many reasons, one of them, a puddle complements our perception of the world, which, we see, is only half.

Are you in doubt

I will prove it.

I always loved puzzles, crossfords, one of them, I'll show you today. You will see for yourself when you read my comment on the photograph provided by one of the participants and the winner of the contest.

Have you ever, being alone in nature, noticed, or, you felt, the gaze of someone who is invisible.

You tried to find out who was looking at you, but there was nobody there.

The fact is that, you only saw half the picture.

If, nearby, there was a puddle, or a lake, you would, with high probability, see the reason and source of this view.

Nature draws images of various animals and creatures that are closely watching you.

But, about that, a little later, more precisely, you will see everything below in the text.

Today, the competition round has ended - Show me the reflection of the world in a puddle, with a prize pool of 58 coins.

Before the start of the competition with the new conditions of the game, I want to announce the winners of the previous round of the competition.

Today, we have the winners of the 15 round of the competition!

Dear @depot69, he, a contestant who made me work, lol!
No, this, not him, but his photograph, looked at me with a fixed look. I had something to work on.
Colorful nature and nothing more? This is a real treasure of the artistic craftsmanship of nature, and the photographer who took this photograph!

Do you see only the landscape?

Is someone looking at you?

So let's go!
As I said, I felt a gaze from someone who was looking at me from this photo, but, i saw only the lake and the trees.

I copied the photograph and began to rotate it on its axis, and, eureka!

I saw what I was looking for!

It was not one look, several creatures looked at me, which, I could see, thanks to the reflection in the water.

So, I present to you the characters of this landscape:

The rotated image, let's start, from top to bottom.

Green and very well-fed cat.

Mysterious and sleepy koala.

Poodle, or. is it an afghan hound?

Face, or monster?

All of them, looked at me, now, they look at you, and, they, are a confirmation of my words that, indeed, always, someone is looking at you!

Great job!

Dear @bitandi, I really like the image of the towers that are reflected in the water.
An indescribable feeling of weightlessness is created. great moment! He will never happen again. Yes, someday, again, there will be a puddle, but, already, it will be of a different form. In it, there will be more or less water.

Dear @chriddi,I look at this small pond and remember the lines from the Bible - as a doe strives for streams of water, I strive for God! I saw the sky of Australia in this small pond. Excellent!

Oh, thank you very much!
I admire how you interpreted the photo of @depot69 in its separate puzzle pieces!
Best regards,

Hello @barski,
it's amazing what you've discovered in my photos. Thank you very much for this great contest and I also won something. It was really fun and you will see me again.

It is incredible how many faces one can see in the photo made by @depot69 and in your work, @barski. I am very much impressed.

Here is my photo, I took during my holiday in Thailand. The reflections in the pool made the place to look more exotic. I hope I managed to show the tranquility.

I also made a post

Hello @barski
Of course I'm back in your contest.
I have only been taking such reflection photos since I heard about your contest.
And it is a lot of fun.
Here I am in Merzig Saar Germany at a beautiful pond.
A nice weekend for you and your family
Greeting from @bitandi

18.01.2020 16:21

Hello @barski,
of course I'm back in. Unfortunately this time I didn't find a picture of a water reflection and there are no puddles in front of the door. What also creates a mirror image is the shadow of an object that is illuminated by the sun. Here a nice example:

You confront me with the temptation to steal bread from @melinda010100

, lol. If she allows me to steal one of the many shadows from her, I will accept this comment for the contest. I look forward to hearing from her))

19.01.2020 13:15

It seems that there are plenty of shadows for everyone, @barski! I'll vote for this one 👍 Great shadow shot, @depot69.

Hi @barski thanks for choosing my photo on the last round and congrats to all the other winners. This puddle reflection i happen to see while traveling through Paris i can't remember the name of the building but it was during the Christmas festivals and the whole city was just so beautifully decorated and the reflection certainly caught my eye.

When the rain came, rainwater didn't go away on the street for the poor drainage system here in the desert.

20.01.2020 03:03

Since the first time I came across your Reflections in Puddles contest I've been searching for material to photograph. Either it was a cloudy/snowy day or there wasn't any water to create reflections upon. Finally, an opportunity presented itself when I visited my daughter in Dallas! Trees lost most of their leaves, presenting an
unobstructed reflective view on the stream that borders her home. Hope you enjoy the selective color editing I did on the photo! @barski
