We’re expanding our marketing function and looking to fill the position of Growth Marketer — Acquisitions, Engagement, and Retention.

The role itself will focus on growing and improving engagement within two of our core audiences (Users and Developers). You’ll be responsible for creating and executing marketing strategies and campaigns to drive acquisition, engagement, and retention specifically for these audiences.

You’ll work closely alongside the ARK Communications team to devise and direct innovative marketing campaigns and initiatives that will grow the community, increase engagement, improve sentiment, and drive awareness of ARK. Building relationships with key influencers and media partners will also be a big part of your role. You’ll also need to be able to implement solid product marketing strategies to launch new products and developer tools and promote the adoption and usage of these products.

You’ll also work in conjunction with the ARK B2B Marketing team, collaborating on activities for nurturing and converting interest from our startup audience, as well as collaborating on the overall product offering, brand identity, mission and vision of ARK.

What do I need?

You’ll need a strategic mindset, a great attitude and above all, a passion and drive to succeed.

The more you know about blockchain the better (obviously), but what’s more important than your technical knowledge, is your marketing acumen.

At the very least, we’re looking for someone with the following:

  • Experience: At least 3+ years of experience in acquisition, retention and product marketing in the technology sector. You’ll need to have a good understanding of go-to-market campaigns and product launches. A strong B2C background is also a must. Must be well-versed in all areas of marketing (digital, product, content and more). Finally, a history of marketing to developers or crypto communities would be a welcomed advantage.
  • Qualifications: You should hold either a Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or equivalent professional marketing qualification (e.g. CIM or similar).
  • Attributes: It almost goes without saying that you’ll need excellent written/verbal communication, a keen interest in all things marketing and a sound working knowledge of marketing platforms, metrics, strategy, software, and tools.

You’ll also need:

  • A cool head: We work at a fast pace. Things change, priorities shift, and sometimes you’ll be working on a number of different projects all at once. We need someone who’s good at prioritizing and even better at multitasking.
  • Quality over quantity mindset: Quality first, and always. If you’re a stickler for detail, a perfectionist (or even a little bit of a control freak), then welcome aboard!
  • Drive and ambition: We don’t micromanage. Instead, we look for self-starting and passionate individuals who know what needs to be done and work towards objectives with enthusiasm.
  • A good sense of humor: As a decentralized team we’re always looking for ways to bring our team closer together and boost morale. If your emoji, meme or gif game is on point, then you’ll fit right in!
