One Way to Tell a Real Revolution from a Fake One

We, Syrians have been telling from the very beginning that what is happening in our country cannot be a grassroots revolution, we were doing much better than all our neighboring countries in all aspects, true we don't post online swears and bad words against our president like in the 'real democracies in the west', we are civilized people, we don't talk back to our elders either, we have the longest history of continued civilizations on the planet, what the US-supported opposition are asking for are not from our culture, what those 'peaceful protesters' did from the very first day have nothing to do with our belief, our heritage, our secularism, our lifestyle, although our community is the most rich-cultured one in the whole region ethnically, religiously, and by ways of life.

Cuba, Real Revolution:

"I began revolution with 82 men, if I had to do it again, I do it with 10 or 15 and absolute faith. It does not matter how small you are if you have faith and plan of action."
~Fidel Castro

Syria, Fake Revolution:

"We need more money, we need more weapons, we need 'No Fly Zone', we need foreign intervention."
~Abdulbaset Sieda, Syria National Council

This simple comparison between a real revolution against a puppet of a foreign country and what is going on in our country says much of what we were suffering and resisting all these years. Did you ever wonder why the 'opposition' failed to gain popular support in every single city they infested, they had to resort to terrorist attacks, massacres, and oppression to subdue the communities they infest?

And above all, whenever did a patriotic activist call on a foreign country to bomb his country so he can get to power? How democratic is that?!
