A Daily Dose: Forgive yourself!

Why do you get stuck into thinking of what should you do next? You're always thinking about what could happen and where will you be in the future. There are many things that you take into consideration that you often forget to see what matters most.

You're not always sure of your decisions. You are worrying that you might be doing the wrong thing. And this habit has left you discouraged to take on every possibility. You got afraid to try new things and see results different from what you expect. You lost your confidence.

I know that it's been hard to live your life like this. And I know that you did not pray for this. It wasn't what you wanted, but it is what is happening. You can't help but deal with it even though it becomes unbearable sometimes.

When you feel like giving up, you always isolate yourself and cry in a place where no one would see you. You hide because you are afraid to be seen at your weakest. It's your way to ease the pain that you're not able to share with anyone. And distancing yourself from everyone was the saddest thing you could ever do.

Do you have to feel alone when things are getting rough? I know how hard it could get, but don't you think that it's best to talk about it? You always jump into conclusions too early and suffer the consequences when you don't have to.

There are times that I wonder why do you have to go through all this? You're so sweet, caring, and brave to suffer an unfair situation. And I feel sorry that I can't help you fix anything. I'm too weak to help others beat their struggles.

I'm hoping that things will come to an end, and you'll be able to find answers to all your worries. I pray that you will get to see everything you need to realize so you won't have to hesitate anymore. And at last, I'm looking forward to the day that you finally got your confidence back.

"Forgive yourself for not having the foresight to know what now seems so obvious in hindsight." - Judy Belmont

Why does it take time to realize what we are missing? Should we feel stupid for not knowing that we already have the answers to our worries?
