A lockdown day out at the farm was good for the soul 🐴🐖🐗🐐🦆🐓

It's funny when you can do very little, the intense enjoyment you can take from the very simple things.

In Ireland we are still stuck in a very restrictive lockdown. This is our third protracted lockdown since all this Covid-19 madness started back in March 2020. God, that feels like twenty years, yet it also feels like twenty minutes ago, like some sort of cursed timewarp. It's like we are all living that movie Groundhogs day, where Bill Murray lives the same day over and over and over again.

So this third lockdown is almost 100 days now at this stage and the nation is fatigued! We can't travel more than 5km from our own homes or we could get stopped by the police and fined.

Luckily this working farm, complete with petting farm is within our 5km allowable radius, so we can visit it whenever we like with our 3 young boys.

Here are some photos of our recent visit. It does us all the world of good to get out of the house and get some fresh air and feed the animals.

We really count ourselves luckybto have this farm within our 5km andvit allows us to spend money at their vegetable shop and buy coffee and buns from them. All local businesses need as much support as possible during these tough times.

Thanks for reading.

I hope you enjoyed it.

Take care and mind youself.

Peace out.
