Bird Photography: Great Egrets

In late afternoon, I took a walk around the reservoir, a home of the egrets. They hang out in the mangrove trees while some others spend a little time in the water. Egret are generally found near water, both salt or fresh and wetland. They identify prey by walking carefully or standing calmly waiting for the animal to come. Knowing this white bird with a long leg has very sharp eyes that quickly respond to the threat, I had to stand from a distance range, hiding behind the bush to capture them. So here are some pictures of the egrets that I took in the reservoir a few days ago.
