Samsung has displayed a modern flagship chip

Samsung has presented a 8-nm Quad-Core 9820 processor for mobile phones. The same processor is likely to be installed on the future Samsung Galaxy S10, reports Correspondent.net.

The main breakthrough in the chip is its production of 8 nanomatrous LPPs using the FinFET process. That's why a new chip is expected to require 10 percent less energy than 10 nanometers.

When creating a new chip, Samsung used the fourth generation nuclei. The effectiveness of the new technology should increase dramatically. The chip is included with the GPU Mali-G76 MP12 graphics processor kit.
