The head of Twitter has tested a tool for bitcoin payments on the social network

Twitter creator Jack Dorsey tested the tool from the Tippin project for bitcoin payments on the social network and gave his assessment. Recall that through the new extension for Chrome and Firefox, Twitter users can now make instant Bitcoin payments via the Lightning network.
In his account, Dorsey writes that he has already connected the function from Tippin and even managed to get a few satoshi (49 cents in money equivalent).

Also, citing news from Tippin developers, CEO Twitter writes that their idea is great.
Recall that recently Jack Dorsey took part in the relay of BTC transactions through the Lightning Network. The experiment itself aims to demonstrate the capabilities of this network. So, this time one of the participants of the relay did not miss the opportunity to once again offer the CEO of Twitter to integrate LN payments directly into the social network.
Earlier, Dorsey had already raised this topic, saying that the implementation of the Lightning Network in his other project - the Cash App payment application, which recently added the possibility of buying BTC - is a matter of time.
