Goldfinger


It looks like this fly has acquired some gold jewellery. It's called a noon fly (Mesembrina meridiana); it lays eggs in cow dung, the larvae feed on other fly larvae within the dung. Gold doesn't necessarily stand for kindness and good taste, it seems.
