Coronavirus: Few African women SME owners participate in e-commerce – Report

A report compiled by the African Development Bank (AfDB) with support from the UN Women and ImpacHER has revealed that women are about 45% less likely to be online in Sub Saharan Africa which has resulted in fewer African SME owners participating in e-commerce. 88% of the women interviewed indicated that they need some level of technical assistance to adapt to life after COVID-19.
